Life Update…
So, I haven’t blogged as much as I thought I would, but I’m trying to do better, so here’s a little life update! It is almost March. I can’t believe how fast this year is already flying by! Not that anyone is counting, but right at this moment, I have 71 days, 20 hours and 30 minutes until I graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Production and a minor in Biblical Discipleship. Wow. It feels like I just graduated high school, but here I am, a Senior in College.
Last semester, I started an internship at Farmhouse Studio in Moscow, TN. After about 7 months there, I have completed my internship and have been hired on as a staff engineer! I am honored to have this opportunity and look forward to recording some great music!
Over Christmas break, a couple friends from South Dakota (Bella Grace & Kait) came to visit me for 10 days. We had so much fun! They wanted to see Memphis, so I got to show them around and we even spent New Year’s Eve in Grandview, IN visiting Wyatt (one of the other interns at Chanku Waste last summer). I really enjoyed having them here and can’t wait to see them again! Here are some photos we took while they were here:

I am excited to say that next month, a group of 13 youth and 8 chaperones from my church will be driving up to the Pine Ridge Reservation for a week to serve the missionaries at Chanku Waste Ranch. There are a lot of exciting things happening in the Kingdom up there and I am so glad that our church gets to be a part of it. I ask that you would pray for the group as we prepare to travel that way. Pray that our hearts would have an attitude of service and that God would be able to bless others through us. Last year I remember feeling like I received a blessing more than I was able to bless others. God works in strange ways like that, so I pray that these kids would see their service to the Father as a blessing in itself.
I really just want to thank my church! Calvary, if you had not given so much support over the years to the Haddens, we never would have been able to see the growth that has happened there. You made it possible for our group to go last year in March and I cannot thank you enough. If we had not gone on that trip, I never would have gone last summer. And I can’t even begin to thank you enough for how you supported me, individually, last year. It gets me kind of emotional because there are so many things that had to happen in order for me to even know about that opportunity. The fact that you cared enough to help me out when I told you 2 weeks before I was going! You gave over and above what I ever asked for or even needed! That strengthens my faith that whatever God orders, HE PAYS FOR! He provides like none other! So, thank you for listening to God and being so faithful when he tells you to move because it has changed my life and I know it will change these kids lives when they step foot on this ground and get to see how God can stir things up when we are faithful.
I have been thinking a lot about faithfulness recently – I guess because I am studying Hebrews, currently. I just read chapter 11 where the author lists out all of these Old Testament people and talks about how even back then, salvation was by faith. He talks about all of these things that they did and how it was all by faith. So, thank you for stepping out in faith and supporting your youth. Thank you for stepping out in faith and supporting the Haddens. Thank you for stepping out in faith and supporting me.
